Yes, you work directly with me (Chris Weston). As the founder and senior designer, I handle all client work personally to ensure the highest quality and consistency.
Absolutely. I work seamlessly with internal product teams, engineers, and stakeholders. I can integrate into your existing workflows and collaborate with your team to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
I use industry-standard design tools including Figma for design and coding tools for prototyping. For project management, I can use your preferred team tools or onboard you to my Slack workspace.
Design isn’t a one-off deliverable—it’s a collaborative process. As your design partner, I share progress frequently, with updates every other day or even daily depending on your needs. This rapid, transparent workflow means you’re involved at every step, giving feedback and seeing value early—not waiting for a big reveal, but shaping the outcome together.
Working with me is straightforward. After you reach out, we'll have an initial conversation to understand your needs. Once we agree on the monthly retainer, I'll integrate into your workflow. We'll communicate regularly through your preferred channels (email, Slack, etc.) and I'll deliver designs and updates on an ongoing basis.
Yes, video calls are available when needed. I'm flexible with communication methods - we can use video calls for kickoff meetings, design reviews, or important discussions. For day-to-day updates, we typically use async communication to keep things efficient.
The monthly plan is a simple retainer model. You get dedicated design time and priority access. The retainer covers ongoing design work, updates, and support. We'll work together to prioritize tasks and ensure you're getting value from the arrangement. You can cancel at any time with no long-term commitment.
If you're not happy with the work, we'll discuss what's not working and make adjustments. Since the plan is month-to-month with no long-term commitment, you can cancel anytime if things aren't a good fit.
Yes, absolutely. There's no long-term commitment. You can cancel your monthly plan at any time. Just let me know and we'll wrap up any current work. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
